There is only one move per turn, then opponent has his chance.
When your characters are fighting you must use fighting system. Look at the examples of using below. When bigger groups are fighting, there must be the same number of opponents. Battles can be arranged in Plotting pages. But in case of smaller numbers, fights can be like this:

2 vs 3
1 vs 3
Bigger numbers must be the same on each side.
